Heading to Indianapolis

Last week I got an email from my high school buddy Craig, letting me know that our old orchestra teacher (Mr. Dennis) wasn’t doing so well. I got the news that he had passed away last Thursday, and was waiting to hear more information about the service/ceremony.

Earlier today, while in Cincinnati, I found out that the ceremony was to take place tomorrow morning. By the time I got back to Chicago, I was pretty done with travelling (part of me was debating hopping in the car and making the 3-hour drive this evening).

Instead, I called in to work and decided on making the drive super early tomorrow morning. So… when I got back, I pretty much went straight to sleep.
