Hello Gapers Block!

Got the nod from Gapers Block today, a Chicago-centric, group-edited blog that I visit daily. In fact, I’ve even had one or two photographs make their way to the site.

The blurb that got written about the project was simply amazing. But you know what really made my day? Check a few entries down, below mine – it’s a mention of the Chicago Auto Show, and a promotion that Q101 is doing for the band OK Go.

Ben, Bryan and I all worked on creating the Flash microsite.

In addition to getting my own personal stuff mentioned, it was kind of cool to see some work stuff appear in the same breath.

Depending on how this week shakes out, I may end up at the Auto Show, working as a photographer. I had made a deal with Angie about this a while back – me offering to shoot pictures, so long as I could use them for the blog. By now you must realize… in addition to me being a famewhore, I’m also a contentwhore.

I don’t really know OK Go all that well. But my sense is that if I got photos of the show itself, some behind-the-scenes, some crowd shots, etc, it’d be of interest to a few of you out there.
