Headed over to HOB today (specifically, the hotel) to check on a room. I’m looking to reserve a nice place for my upcoming birthday party… but wanted to make sure it was big enough, before finalizing plans. Well… I could have bothered to call over to check if they could give me a walkthrough, prior to actually going over there. Oh well.

There weren’t any rooms available for viewing, so I made an appointment for later in the week. I did get a few cool pics along the way though, so not a total waste.

And how’s this for serendipity? Earlier, I had emailed Chelsea about attending an advance screening of Chappelle’s Block Party. I also extended the invite to Sarah and Bill as well, as I had a few extra tickets.

Right as I’m taking all these silly photos, who should I meet on Kinzie but Bill! We shook hands, and I mentioned the upcoming movie (he was working late today, and couldn’t attend). Still – quite the random encounter, particularly given the fact that I haven’t seen him since New Year’s Eve!
