There’s an opportunity at work that I’ve been considering, these past few days. I can’t really go into much detail, but it involves a potentially significant change in my day to day role and responsibilities.

I’ve asked for the weekend to consider the offer, and to think on it more. The opportunity is challenging and would set me on a markedly different path than the one I’m on currently.

Lately, I’ve been putting a lot of time and thought into who I am, how I define myself (through the context of work). What do I want to be doing in the next year, in the next five years, or ten.

What makes me happy?
