Take On Me Via Augmented Reality

I haven’t really messed with augmented reality much, beyond trying out a thing or two eight years ago – and the recent Pokemon Go craze.

I’ve heard and seen some really neat things from Apple’s ARKit, but mostly it’s just been videos. I’ve yet to download anything.

When I saw this test/play app made by Trixi Studios – I was genuinely impressed. I’ve seen a “portal” demonstration before, but this really takes things to the next level. A futuristic implementation of a retro video.

The whole thing is real time, as seen through a user’s phone/screen. But wow, what a super neat effect!

PS: My favorite version remains the “literal” version. Pipe Wrench Fight!
