I’ve been meaning to put a few quotations from Jesus’ Son, a collection of short stories by Denis Johnson. There was a movie made a few years back – I saw it maybe a year or two ago, but fell asleep after about 30 minutes. I’m always wary of movie adaptations, especially when one movie is trying to pull in…
This is something pretty damn incredible. :D
About a week ago, as I was trying to get to bed early… I stopped in front of the poems that I taped up on the walls. I spent a good 10 minutes looking over old writing and reading things out loud. Partly to remember what I wrote, but partly to hear my own voice. Deep down, I’m a huge…
It’s about 8:30 PM. I’ve been falling asleep at the computer here, for the past 30 minutes. I’m on beer #2, and I’d like to get a game or two of UT in before I pass out. We had a good meeting day today, and I feel like we all covered a lot of ground. I hope all the webmasters…

I start updating the blog. I realize I drank my last beer last night. I realize I have to be up early, and arrive at work by 7:30 AM. I look to my cat for sympathy, but she just yawns and starts cleaning herself. Lousy, ungrateful cat. I turn off the computer and walk to bed.
I get back home.
Justin and I walk back to the Merchandise Mart, and get a cab.
I curse God.
I realize I left my lights on and the battery is completely dead.
Justin and I leave Q101, and head towards my car.
We’re all (me, Justin, Ben, Deb and Jill) back at the office, finishing up for tomorrow’s full day of meetings and sessions.
Everyone is asking the lawyer questions and we get into issues of "streaming" audio.
After a full day of work, we go to meet all our webmasters (who have flown in to Chicago). I have two beers, we eat some pretty good food, and listen to a lawyer talk about copyright issues and the Internet.
I’m driving my car, at Justin’s house. I pick him up and we park in a lot near the Merchandise Mart.
