Costume Shopping

I was a maniac on the phone today. I called and talked to people I hadn’t spoken to in… well, in too long. I’m trying to become more social, now that the Alabama event is over. For a while there, I had my mind focused on a series of things – new job, moving, WH folks visiting, Alabama. Things have only now begun to feel like they’re slowing down.

Alright, this coming week is filled with things to do and people to see. Fantastic! I also talked to my old coworker Dave, who helped me put up those pegboards a few months back. I still owe him some help converting his site into Flash… but he also asked if I needed help again putting the boards on the walls of my new apartment. Rock!

After tons of phone calls, no one else seemed to want Halloween supplies. So I went and threw down $56 on makeup, fake blood, liquid latex, spirit gum, and … well, you’ll see. :) I did a zombie thing last year, which I’m trying to re-do. I’ve got some props leftover, and I’m trying not to do *exactly* the same thing. One good trick from last year that I’m going to repeat is burying my clothes in the yard a few days prior to Thursday.

It’s gonna be in the 30’s then, which will suck. Gotta bundle up. A bunch of us are heading to see the Redmoon Theater, so hopefully there will be some good pictures from that.
