Almost a Year

It took me almost a year before I actually met her in person. But here she is:

I spotted her just sitting in her nest. She made no motion when I stopped on the stairs, and even when my flash went off… she continued staring at me. There was no alarm, just a very calm, steadied “Are you lookin’ at me?” kind of stare.

About a year ago, I found her unguarded nest.

Hopefully this year, things will turn out better than before.
