Happy 3rd Birthday, Found Magazine

Found Magazine celebrated its third birthday tonight, and had a small shindig at the Empty Bottle. I had met Jason a few times through chicago friends, and had actually first heard of Found some years back through some online friends (via infourm.com). Funny how these paths intertwine.

It was hotter than shit in this place at first. But a few whiskies later, and the place seemed to cool down some. Here’s a shot of one part of the room, where there are more bleacher-like seats near the stage. I ended up squatting on the ground, my back against the stage, to get this shot. To the left is the rest of the bar (tables, etc).

Jason didn’t really get on stage at all much, save for the end. Davy (the other partner behind Found) did most of the MC duties and gave some great readings of several great found items.
