An end to the constant sweating

Sweet Jebus, I’ve done nothing all day but sweat. Woke up super early this morning, got in my car, and it started. I’ve felt drenched all day.

But no more! I ran errands this morning and got a ton of stuff – a nice drill and a big honking fan. Today, I decided, was the day I pull out the AC unit and install that guy in the window.

Good god. A part of me is amazed that I documented the initial AC unit install. Another part of me is very, very embarassed. I’m starting to wonder about this blog, and whether I’m being a documentarian… or just plain nutso obsessive compulsive.

And on that note, here’s a picture of the newly installed AC unit.

The kitchen is now a mess again. Yay. I have to say though… buying a cordless drill made this whole process amazingly easy. I can’t believe what a difference that tool makes.

Ahh. Sweet, cool, artificial environment. If I could hug the AC unit without my neighbors raising their eyebrows, I would.

Here’s hoping nobody breaks into my place again.
