Post-Work Poker

Had a bunch of us play a round of Holdem after work today. A great time as always, though the more I play… the more I feel like I have to learn. I lasted for a while, but didn’t really do better than mediocre play (in my estimation). Still though – we had a huge group. Andy and Anthony joined…

How about some T in the morning?

Check this out! Mr. T was visiting the radio station today, and we were able to get a group picture taken with him! He was incredibly nice about the whole thing, despite the fact that he had just stepped off a plane a few hoursearlier. Probably still groggy from when Murdock slipped him the tranquilizers. As my coworker Matt would…

Evolution: What About God?

Tonight, my DVD-player was on the fritz so I ended up popping in an old VHS tape of a PBS documentary I had taped, several years ago, called Evolution. This was a multi-part documentary, and just a fantastic one at that. However, the episode I watched tonight was the final one, entitled What About God? I highly recommend this documentary,…

OOP

On Chris’ recommendation, I picked up Object-Oriented Programming with ActionScript (by Branden Hall and Samuel Wan). We like it dark where we work, but it was more pronounced with the clouds rolling by. I snapped this trying to capture…

After successfully completing their end of things, Ben jokingly asked Angie if we could get a case of tequila from the client. Lo and behold, Angie brings back no less than six bottles of happy juice! Awesome! Party next Thursday.

The Power of Powerpiña

Ben brought in some more Mexican candy today. This time though, he had purchased a ton (we’re talking like 26) of the very candy he loves: Powerpiñas. Chris and I both tried one, and I wanted to mark the occasion. I’m not crazy about the flavor, but it was much milder than I initially suspected (based on both the packaging…
