Audioplayer Updated
Today, during work, I heard a few songs coming from Ben’s computer that made me perk up my ears. He had been surfing around a few mp3 blogs, and was listening to some of the stuff he had found. Before the day was out, I had two songs that I really enjoyed, right off the bat.
This is a rare thing for me. I tend to listen to the same things over and over again, so finding anything one new thing is an occasion – let alone two different artists. So far tonight, I’ve been listening to Page France obsessively – so much so that I was prompted to update the player, so you all could hear it.
Page France – Chariot
Over and over and over. Can’t. Stop. Playing.
Regina Spektor – Samson
At first, what I heard sounded like a mix of Björk, Joanna Newsome and Tori. I have a hunch I’ll be buying this album very soon.
José González – Heartbeats
Famous for providing the soundtrack to the stunning Sony Bravia ad, this seems like a fitting song to add to the list. Seeing as how the Internet provided the first two songs, this seems appropriate somehow.
Big thanks to Ben, for passing along Chariot and Samson. If you like his taste in music, swing on by his personal site and let him bend your ear.
