Rodan

Hung out with Justin, post-work at Rodan. More and more, I’m liking this place. It’s closeby, pretty snazy, and the feel is quite comfortable. The drinks are a bit pricey, but… meh. I’ll chalk it up to paying for the atmosphere.

Sarah (with an “H”) we discovered worked in a nearby boutique. She does a lot of design stuff on the side, creating sets for runways and doing a lot of the behind-the-scenes work for that sort of thing. She’s also going to school for a design/business degree, which seems like an interesting combination of the creative and the practical.

Fun conversations tonight. It’s not often that I strike up a conversation with a stranger, so that was pretty cool in and of itself. Justin also struck up a random conversation with another audiophile while smoking at the bar… and they both discovered they attended IU, and learned Hindi from the same professor!

Small world. Let’s hear it for random conversations. :)
