Supporting the ACLU

Over the weekend, I learned about Trump’s executive order to ban citizens from 7 countries, and the suspension to the US refugee program.
As I tried to read up on things, I learned that the ACLU filed a lawsuit and won a temporary, national injunction against the deportation of those stranded at US airports due to the executive order.
I have only recently begun to donate to the ACLU. And my only regret is that I did not begin donating earlier. Seeing their actions today, I am incredibly proud of the work they’ve done, and continue to do – and am happy to lend a small bit of financial support towards their efforts.
I urge you to look over the ACLU’s history for yourself, and read about the work they’ve done for nearly 100 years. And if you find yourself moved by their mission, I urge you to donate.
