Me Talk Pretty One Day

I’ve become a big fan of David Sedaris after reading Me Talk Pretty One Day. I’ll post a few blurbs – I’m literally laughing out loud, almost uncontrollably so, at least once every ten minutes. The guy is good. I’m plowing through this book, which I purchased on Monday evening.

Tracy suggested him to me, ages ago. And when I first saw Heather’s place, she talked him up to me as well. I can’t believe I’ve gone for so long and not gotten my hands on his work. He’s doing great things with the nonfiction form, condensing them into small essays that must necessarily go over well with our short attention span generation.
