We’re Here Again!

Oh man o man o man. Yeah, baby!

After quite the absence, www.were-here.com is back online! Dayam!

People are posting like crazy in Just Converastion, and nerdy me… I never took WH off as my homepage. Earlier, as I was opening a new IE window, I thought "Gee, maybe I should wait and see if it’ll HOLEEEE CRAP!" Lo and behold, the forum was back.

Lots of folks are returning, and it was quite interesting to see the commotion and posts and flurry of activity surrounding the forum’s return. For many of us spend (and have spent) a good amount of time there, the sense of a neighborhood/community is there. It’s odd, in that many people have never met face to face… but that feeling is there.

I’ve had complete strangers offer me guidance and assistance, when they had no good reason to do so other than someone once helped them in a similar manner. Back when I was a newbie and didn’t know my tweens from my AS, I turned to WH for advice and answers. An invaluable place, and I’m terribly happy it’s back.
