Lunch With Katie

I had a good, relaxing lunch with Katie today. Actually, we played a round of chess, and then went out to grab a quick bite. Today, some hardware folks from Indianapolis came down, and there was a fairly big technical meeting. I ended up sliding out of it, but ended up spending most of my day in a sort of limbo… waiting to get called in to talk about a few issues.

Unfortunately (luckily?), this never happened. Katie and I grabbed some grub from the Food Court, camped out at the big Interactive table, and talked for a good long while. She’s heading off to work as an intern for the Mix in a few weeks, but hopes to return to Q101 once winter kicks back in.

Today was nice – the last few times I’ve hung out with Katie, I’d been drinking heavily (either at a bowling alley, or on a boat). So this was a nice change. :) A really relaxing, really enjoyable lunch. Hopefully, she’ll get a chance to hang out with everyone else this weekend at Justin’s party… read on below for details.
