One Minute Is Curiosity, Ten Minutes Is A Warning Sign

One of my friends (who shall remain nameless unless he says otherwise) likes to watch The Gilmore Girls. He refers to it as his "guilty pleasure." As you know, I tend to have this habit of working on the computer, then getting up and walking to the television, flip channels while standing in front of the television (because sitting down would acknowledge that I’m goofing off), then returning to the computer. This is, apparently, my work process.

Well tonight, I was looking around and happened to stop on The Gilmore Girls. Ten minutes later, I look up and realize I’ve been standing there for ten minutes watching the show, and getting wrapped up in this scene. Since this was only ten minutes and not an entire episode, this doesn’t really count as a guilty confession.

I just feel a little confused is all. It’s not like I’m wondering who Paris is, and if she’s part of the main character’s circle of friends, or a peripheral character who’s starting to become more of a

uh…
