UPS Trip

October 16, 2003

I’ve gotten a few delivery notices from UPS trying to drop something off at my house. Well, it’s been sitting at their service center all week, so I need to pick it up before it gets returned to sender. I took a super late lunch, and hopped over there.

There was a note inside saying: Thanks for the Petey help. :)

At first, I wasn’t sure what this thing was. I pried it apart… and then tried sticking it against some metal. I thought – Ok, this is some sort of nifty fridge magnet? Made of leather? Thought some more, and then tried opening up that book of poems by Lucille Clifton, to see if it was some sort of paperweight. Then… I thought the magnets were so that it served as a kind of bookmark. And while it did close shut on itself, the book didn’t close all that well.

I flipped box over, and realized what it was: a money clip.
