Xmas Party

Drove out to Barrington, to Rey’s house for his Christmas party. A ridiculous amount of food was available, and I ate a ridiculous amount of it. At one point, I had to remove myself from the kitchen because they just kept bringing out more and more desserts. There were a ton of folks inside this place, and the entire evening was a bit of a whirl. Have I mentioned that Rey’s house is absolutely amazing? Though I don’t know the exact number of people I’d be willing to kill to get an office like his… I know the number is definitely two plus.

We drove a good hour plus (snow started falling in the city, and everyone was driving slowly everywhere). I saw a few familiar roads driving there and back, but still managed to get lost on the way out there. Tonight was really quite beautiful, once I got on the road and started driving at a reasonable pace.

I didn’t take any pictures. I did bring my camera with me, and Rey did offer his permission for me to use pics on the blog… but it didn’t feel right. I didn’t know a lot of the people in attendance (outside of some Q101 folks), and the whole idea of posting images here felt intrusive (at least, more intrusive than normal).

It’s closing on 2 AM, and I should probably head to bed. *yawn*
