On the way to work Arizona
I should mention this
If anyone wants any high-res versions of any pictures they find on here, just let me know. I should try to make some desktops one of these days. But until I get that motivated… if you see something you want, drop me a line and I’ll dig through my files and send you the originals.
Peasant’s Quest
This is just like how I remembered it, back in the old days. What a fantastic game. In case you’re not familiar with Peasant’s Quest, get the backstory here.
Tall Buildings
MoMA has a nice exhibition called “Tall Buildings,” featuring large-scale models, drawings, and photographs of twenty-five skyscrapers from around the world. Check out the online component.
Creep
This is pretty fantastic. Check out this animation of Radiohead’s Creep, as done by Monkeehub at Low Morale. Thanks to zip100 for this link.
Updates

On the way to work
Saw some kayaks on the Chicago River. Or, as Justin and Chris put it: one real kayak, one fake kayak.
Clubfoot

Dunphy’s
Stopped downstairs for a drink after work with Justin. Ahhh, Dunphy’s. There’s something nice about not having to leave the building to get an after-work drink. Course, it helps that my building’s the size of a friggin’ city block. Opie! Bass and Justin, getting all goofy. Well, maybe it’s just Justin getting goofy. Intersting timing:…
On the way to work
Just saw these for the first time today. On a side note: this is on a street where I used to live (Honore), and the mural is on the wall of a restaurant right across the street from the building where I lived. My first meal as an official Chicagoan was at this restaurant (although…
Walking Around After Work
Love again: Damen, North and Milwaukee. It’s just this thing I have, I guess. I seem to be drawn to where balloons end up. They suggest such a sad end, always. They’re symbols of celebration and happiness, but to see them after the fact is a bit depressing. Found this on the corner of my…
