Future Pool

I got a call from Tena, and tonight we talked on the phone for a good while. We got caught up a bit on what we were up to, and made some tentative plans to shoot some pool next week.

She’s actually playing in a (money) tournament deal tomorrow. I thought about checking this out, but she mentioned that when she plays she gets pretty focused and isn’t all that social. So we’re shooting for something next week.

I mentioned that she’s got her own pool cue, right?

Sheesh. Tournaments? Money? I’m a pretty competitive guy when it comes to games (and she sounds really competitive about pool), but man… this’ll be interesting. I’ve had some great days, I’ve had some not-so-great days.

Guess we’ll see what happens. :)
