Texas Holdem
Today, a bunch of us organized a post-work poker game of Texas Holdem. Complete with poker chips, snacks, and a few brews.
What a great time – I was laughing the whole evening, and I had a blast just hanging out. This was a big guys-night-out sort of evening, and really just a ton of fun. Everyone of us are friends. Everyone’s smart. Everyone likes to bring the trash talk.
This pic here is a shot of the chips that Mike brought. They came in this slick, metallic case. And each one is weighted. These were a ton of fun to hold and roll around in your hands.

Chris ended up being the winner from the first game tonight, and I ended up placing second. Woohoo!
On completing the first game, our momentum kept everyone fairly interested… and so we played another. Second time around it was only me, Anthony, Phil, Andy, Ben and Mike.
After some heated betting (Phil upped the stakes very early on), Mike ended up emerging the overall winner of the second game. Ben came in second.
What a total blast tonight. Lots of fun, and I got to hang out with my coworkers/friends in a non-work environment. Great fucking time.
