Costume Prep
Ran around this afternoon, taking care of odds and ends. Stopped in to Chelsea’s place, to check up on her cat Vince while she’s away. Went to a few stores to buy the necessary supplies for my Halloween costume.

It’s always like this for me, each year. I’m so-so about dressing up. I know I want to, but I’m not truly excited. And then, when it’s close to a week away… my excitement level goes through the roof and I’m totally digging the holiday.
I’m not going to tell you my costume idea ahead of time. So you’ll just have to check back on here. I plan to document the whole costume creation process, and I’ll post up pictures next week. Most likely Friday. This year, Halloween falls on a Sunday. But I’m hoping people will get dressed up for work on Friday anyhow. I know I want to.
Talked with Mike tonight, and he’s gonna hook me up with some paint for my costume. Earlier today, I discovered that you can’t buy cans of spray paint in Chicago (you have to go out to the suburbs for that). Go figure.
