Poker with the boys

I got a call tonight from Chris, inviting me over to his place for some Texas Holdem. I showed up around 9, and we broke out the chips (this was a new set that he had recently purchased, ever since we played a few rounds with Mike’s set).

The view from my seat. We all threw in $2, and counted out $1000 in chips. All in all, a fun night (and I placed second. Again!).

Here’s some trivia for you: Chris, Will and Eric don’t have an ice tray. Instead, they’ve got this rubbery thing that spits out ice shaped as hearts. For some reason.

I’d like it on the record that, despite my having four hearts at my side… not a Flush the whole night.
