Spent the day watching episodes

Spent the day watching episodes of Monk, and puttering around the aparment. Got some more cleaning done, and finally situated the bookshelves in my bedroom. Finally.

Had a great talk tonight with my friend Dipti, who called me to say Happy Birthday (a few days early). We caught up with each other, and were on the phone a good while. We’ve been talking a lot on IM, as she’s been picking up Flash and is starting to get deeper into Actionscript lately.

We chatted at length about our jobs, and pretty much where we saw ourselves in life. She and I haven’t talked on the phone in… I don’t even know how long. But we’ve known each other since middle school (and got to know each other better in college). Dipti’s one of those friends who, even after a prolonged period of not talking, you pick up again as though no time had passed.
