Lava Lounge

Hopped over to Lava Lounge for a bit, and hung out there waiting for Justin. Had a few drinks on my own, and talked a bit to Tracy, the bartender. She’s been under the weather lately, and wasn’t doing so hot at all. Doing so bad, in fact, that she resorted to doing shots of Nyquil to try to alleviate some of her symptoms.

Unfortunately, I started to get that sad, melancholy drunk (and started to slip into this mode before Justin showed up). During the course of the night, a guy name Sebastian sat down next to me and I think I ended up transferring most of my sadness over to him. I found out he had just broken up with his partner of about 2 1/2 years, and it just made me really sad for the guy.

He bought me a few rounds, and I chatted with him off and on. Justin showed up and we talked shop briefly, before I made my exit.
