Gaki No Tsukai: Silent Library
This is repost from MetaFilter, but it’s so good… I needed to share it with you all.
Gaki No Tsukai is a Japanese show, set up in a (fake) library. The whole point of the game/show is to not laugh out loud. Six participants are given cards, and each time… one of them has to endure a certain trial or challenge. It’s really weird and strange at first, but stick with it until the end – absolutely freaking hilarious.
I’ve watched this thing like four or five times now. And it cracks me up every time. I swear to you, after talking with my coworkers (who were crying laughing when I showed them the clip), I intend to build a “Slapping Machine.” It’s a moral imperative.
I’m telling you – watch it. It’s that good. “Old Man Bites Tenderly” has to be one of my favorite moments, and literally brought tears to my eyes. Enjoy!
