Post-Work Drinks with Katherine, Green Eye Lounge

Hung out a few days ago, post-work with Katherine Raz at Green Eye. Ever since I switched jobs, I think I’ve gotten out of the habit of photographing people.

Hanging out with folks one on one, it feels a little more intrusive to me, than it has before. It’s kind of weird.

Katherie and I chatted about tech and startups, working at the Mart (and 1871), audio documentaries and the various projects we’re working on at the moment. We also talked about freelance work, Chicago neighborhoods, and the transition from apartment to houses.

I haven’t been in the Green Eye all that much – just a few quick visits here and there. But there was a nice feeling to watching the day fade outside, and seeing the interior of the bar light up slowly.
