Paper Moon Pastry Wagon
Met up with Justin for some drinks at Small Bar, after work. On my way home, I happened to be walking behind a woman pulling a small wagon behind her. At first, I thought she was just bringing some things to her apartment, but when I walked by her… she asked if I was interested in buying some pastries.
Turns out, the wagon was actually a pastry wagon from Paper Moon Pastry, with all sorts of good stuff on sale. All vegan too, is my understanding.
I didn’t catch the owner’s name, but I believe she was associated with Paper Moon Bakery, and had previously been working out of a storefront (but unfortunately no longer so). That said, it seems like she’s truly rolled up her sleeves, pounding the pavement around Logan Square, and selling her wares in person. If you look at her Twitter feed, you’ll see she’s definitely been really busy, and really hard at work.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have any cash on me at the time. But I learned that she’s working on redoing her website, and will be aiming to have a Kickstarter project launched sometime in the fall. After encountering her and her wagon, working the boulevard… I’m looking forward to pitching in once the campaign starts.

Sounds awesome! Love supporting people that are working hard/doing what they clearly love.
