Lindsay Ellis: The Complex Feels of Guardians of the Galaxy v.2

I saw mention on Twitter of a discussion regarding Mel Brooks, and got introduced to @thelindsayellis. On finding her YouTube channel, we ended up watching one of her video essays – entitled The Complex Feels of Guardians of the Galaxy v.2.

The video is a combination of great editing and funny/compelling commentary. It’s fast paced, self-depricating at times, and just an all-around breakdown of the story within the movie.

I guess it should go without saying that SPOILERS are ahead. It’s a deep dive into the movie overall, so if you haven’t seen it yet… maybe skip this until you do (but do come back).

You know what I love? Listening to really smart people who are really passionate about things, talking about the things that they are very passionate about. The speed with which Ellis rattles off her thoughts is a bit much at times (I had a hard time keeping up), but enjoyable nonetheless. Really looking forward to viewing her other stuff.
