Halloween Candy Prep, 2025

The nice thing about this blog – I have a handy reference to some random info. Like how much Halloween candy we’ve gone through, in years prior.

Last year, we went through about 551 pieces of candy. This year, in preparation, I went a bit higher, and added a bit of a buffer. Here’s what I got:

36 Ring Pop
160 M&M assorted
75 Nerds
165 Reese’s assorted
45 Oreo
60 Rice Krispie
60 Welch’s
60 Reese’s assorted
55 M&M assorted

With us using the Plinko Board this year, I wanted to have a bit more variety. And I also went with some bigger ticket items: Ring Pops, Rice Krispie treats, and some glow-in-the-dark Oreo cookies.

All told, I got 716 pieces. I got a few smaller bags, thinking that these might serve as our “reserves.” And if we didn’t get to them, we might be able to return them.
