Halloween Prep, 2023
I ended up driving in to work today, with the express purpose of running several errands before heading back home. I was picking up groceries, stopping at a JoAnn Fabric’s (to look for Halloween supplies)… and also stopped to pick up actual Halloween supplies (for our visitors).
As some of you may know, we get a lot of kids visiting our block for Halloween. We’re not quite on par with Harper Avenue in Hyde Park, but we’re working on it. We get a good turnout, and it’s been a source of fun/joy for both me and Liz these last few years.
I used last year’s photos to help estimate how much candy I should buy. I think we’ve got enough here, but… I’m unsure. I think we’ll be ok. Maybe.
