Well, ComEd showed up today, totally unannounced. We got no email or call, they just showed up. Which was super lucky, as my car was in the driveway – and they would have just had to come back another day. Some luck.
Around 3AM, I get woken up by a knock on the door. I walk outside, and I see this:
he power went out around 5PM. Liz and I whiled away some time on the front steps, sipping on some wine. We reported the outage, and were receiving text alerts as to the status. We heard an estimated time for the fix would be 8PM. When 8PM rolled around and then passed, we got another update: 2AM.
