International Violin Competition of Indianapolis

My friend Craig (who, wonder of wonders, is also working in the IT field – who woulda thunk?) sent me a link to a stream that his company is doing. The IVCI is a pretty big deal, from what I understand. When I was a kid, we had a young violinist from China stay with us for a while. Zhang Ti was a nice guy, very quiet and soft-spoken, and a hell of a violinist. He would practice for hours and hours every day. Even as a young child, I understood how much work and dedication it took to practice as much as he did.
