It’s Like Church, But Different
So, I have still yet to meet all the people who live in my building. I know Ted (my landlord) is up there, somewhere. The person direct above me (and I don’t think it’s Ted), has an organ. He/She is playing it right now. It’s soft, and surprisingly soothing at times – and makes everything seem a bit more dignified around here.
Even when I’m slipping around half-emptied boxes, holding my paper plate of pizza and plastic cup of Coke, it just feels more reverent with hymnals going off in the distance.
I’ve also been told (and heard) someone playing tuba on the weekends.
I’m not sure if it’s the same person.
One of these days, I’m going to break out my violin and just start playing away. If I stop updating this blog, it’s because I’m out touring to promote our record deal.
