Good Start Today

Walking to the Blue Line, I passed by what used to be the Daily Grind (at least, I think that was what it was called). Primer location, on the trisection of Milwaukee, North and Damen. And right across the street from an evil Starbucks. Well, there was a sign on the door saying that they would be open today, at 6 AM. So I go in and grab a cup of coffee.

Next thing I know, I see Jeff – the guy who runs Gallery Cafe, right by my house. Turns out, he and his business partner (another Jeff) opened up this new place, Filter. They were cool about letting me take pictures, and were in the process of hanging up their "Grand Opening" sign when I stopped by.
