Dear New York Review of Books Permissions Department,

My name is Felix Jung, and I was recently mentioned in an article entitled “Tales Told by the Computer” (October 24, 2002).

I am writing to request permission to reproduce this article on my blog, located at http://www.avoision.com/portnoy/. The blog (or web log) is an online diary of sorts, and is not a commercial site. I sell nothing, and receive no financial compensation from any source. It’s a personal account of my day-to-day activities, made public. Nothing more.

I would like very much to be able to include the NYR article as an entry into my online journal. I would greatly appreciate any information you may have on how I may be granted this permission.
