Beef Stew

Meh. It was alright. Potatoes turned out well, but the beef was a bit dry. I mixed in some cubes of beef, three potatoes, half a red onion, two portabella mushrooms, a clove of garlic and a sprinkle of fresh parsley. Definitely needed more spices (I threw in salt and pepper, but apparently not enough). I cooked the thing on high for about 5 and 1/2 hours.

I’m pretty excited by the crock pot, I have to admit. Once I get better at cooking with it, I’m hoping it’ll save some time. At night, anyways.
