Slightly Validated

I worked slowly, but I got it done. We’re re-skinning one of the radio stations, and I converted a few pages. I moved like a turtle, but I felt pretty good about weaving my way around Justin and Ben’s templates.

At work, I’m the primary "contact person," so if there’s a problem (or a message to be sent out to all our webmasters), I’m the guy. Which means that my phone tends to ring a bit. Most of our folks are used to calling Ben or Justin directly, but we’re trying to get them to phone me up first – and as a result, I’m trying to be good about responding quickly to all requests, and making sure I put out what fires I can.

Multi-tasking was never a strong suit of mine… shut up Grumpy! :)

I’m more apt to get focused on a particular thing and block out the rest of the world. I get this way too sometimes, just walking down the street. I’ll be thinking about an idea for a project or trying to work out a problem in my head… and someone I know will say "hi" to me. I get caught off-guard a lot; it’s tantamount to someone telling you that you’re drooling, but you still try to wipe your chin and pretend like it’s all cool and casual.
