Ahhhh… dinner…

Whew! Heavy full after a decadent night at Justin’s. Got back around 11:30 PM last night, and I’m posting this around 12:30 AM. Alex and Justin had been cooking all day since around 2 PM (er.. 2 PM, Sunday afternoon). When I showed up, they had a nice soup going in a crock pot, some pizzas in the oven, and the place smalled wonderful.

Dinner consisted of a great soup, some homemade pizza, various types of polentas, a very interesting salad (with dandelion stems and ginger dressing), lots of bread and oil, chocolate cake along with chocolate ice cream. Wow!

Add a nice, ice-cold beer to that, along with a piping cup of coffee afterwards, and there you have it.

No pics, unfortunately. All the lights were dimmed down, and mainly a small, intimate, candle-lit environment. I got to see Alex, Dave, Justin, Emma and Stu – a quiet gathering, and a great way to finish off a rather slow, lazy sort of day.
