Overall, Disappointing
I woke up this morning with such energy and such good intentions. I was up late last night, working away on a cool flash-based project that could utilize many of our radio stations’ interviews with musicians. Mp3 and XML and flexible and easy to maintain… a lot of fun trying to suss things out.
I woke up early this morning, thinking I could get to work and get a head start.
I get into my car and, noticing how spattered it is with mud and old snow (I haven’t used my car in ages), I decide I’m going to swing by a car wash. I get stuck behind the SLOWEST_GUY_IN_THE_WORLD and after waiting in line for what feels like a solid five minutes, I say "screw it" and get back in my car.
On the plus side, while stuck in traffic on Elston, I pulled out my camera and got a quick shot of the skyline.

At work, I was greeted with two emergency phone calls and spent the rest of the day helping fix things or tending to "fires" that broke out. Struggled more with HTML and felt stupid for not being able to work faster.
Today, I had looked forward to building this great interface and actually creating something pretty darn cool. Unfortunately, I ended up patching and fixing things, which didn’t make me feel all that productive.
Afterwards, I joined Justin and Emma downstairs for a few beers. But god damn, $6 for a Harp’s? Outrageous. No wonder I stay at home all the time and drink in front of the computer. At least I won’t go broke that way. :)
I’ve got some more work to do for Monday, and I’m most likely going to head back into the office tomorrow. Well, it was either that or stay later tonight… and I felt like having a beer with Justin and Emma. Hopefully, having to be at work will get me out of bed early and I’ll get some more shit done during the day.
*looks around*
Damn. I may as well just call it a night and head to sleep. Read for a while…
*mumbles*
