Slow Sundays

Gotta love ’em.

I spent most of my day mucking around on the computer. Got a lot of information together for a freelance project, and spent time talking with the client about what they wanted. Let’s see… washed dishes, did laundry, a quiet sort of weekend day.

I did, actually, spend time trying to write/revise something I had hashed out a long time ago. It felt good, although it’s not something I’d label as productive. Stretching maybe? Yawning? Getting myself limber to do some real work?

Earlier on, I opened up StinkFists’ tutorial on .htaccess, and was flipping through that some. I’ve needed to create my own 404 for a long time now, among other things. Good info there, and a great resource.

Right now, I’m looking over old poems, browsing through the blog a little bit, and listening to Beth Orton’s "This One’s Gonna Bruise." It’s making me sad, but in a good, nostalgic sort of way. This song has the uncanny ability to make me want to be sad, if that makes any sense.
