Jill’s Birthday Lunch
It’s this thing at work, where we all go out for lunch when someone has a birthday. Jill had hers last Friday, and since she was out of town… we celebrated today. All of us (me, Jill, Ben, Justin, Matt) wandered over to Potbelly’s, and had some sandwiches and chips.

| Inside, second floor. There was a guy playing guitar the whole time we were eating, perched on this small platform above the main entrance. We couldnt’ see any doors leading up to the landing, so there was this odd sense of him being "trapped" up there.
He had a nice voice, and the times I stopped to listen, I liked the sound of his singing. Matt and Ben got into a long discussion of whether it was preferable to be playing inside a store like this, or to be performing for change in the subways.

| At the end of our meal, I noticed how Matt (left), Ben (right) and I (center) all carefully packaged and compressed our trash. For some reason, this cracked me up to no end, and I thought it spoke volumes about our collective personalities.
I like my coworkers. :)
