Christmas Comes Early

I came home tonight to find my friend Dan’s CD in my mailbox. What a great surprise! Dan – thank you!

Ah, and I just noticed that, on his music page, he did a version of the theme song from Spirited Away!What a coincidence. A week or so back, I happened to remember that song. I recall having written down the song title and artist info in my notebook, soon after watching the movie… but that notebook got stolen, along with my camera a few weeks back. Anyhow… I remembered the song out of nowhere, and ended up doing a google search. And lo and behold… I found a site that offers up the mp3 (which so rarely happens when just hoping that the file falls in your lap).

I’ve been looping that song incessantly for almost two weeks now. Been meaning to add it to the audioplayer, too.

Dan (who’s been living in Japan for a long time now) and I made plans to meet up in Indianapolis over the holidays. He’s visiting family, and it will have been maybe a decade since we’ve seen one another. There should be some good stories in store.
