This morning at the

This morning at the Damen stop, I walked towards the end of the platform… hoping to avoid the crowd of folks who tend to gather right by the stairwell. On looking down, I noticed that someone had used their foot to carve out this little message into the small bit of snow that had fallen this morning.

What a wonderful thing to encounter! I immediately thought of the You Are Beautiful project, and of the very first time I encountered one of those stickers (and also of a sticker I saw a while back, just outside an elementary school).

This message was a strong reminder. Good advice. Well intentioned. Seeing this today just made me feel… I dunno – really, really good. What a great way to start the morning.
