For a while now,

For a while now, ever since I came across the cover of “The Rainbow Connection” by Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, I’ve wanted to choose this song for the audioplayer (on the right). I’ve been listening to this song a lot, and I just can’t get over how much I like both the lyrics and the key changes.

Every so often, I take a step back and wonder about myself. I’m 31 years old. And yet I’m finding myself getting lost in a song that I heard way back when, when I was a kid. And in that vein, I start to worry a bit, and wonder just how adult, how grown up I really am. If I had to assess myself, I know that I don’t feel that terribly mature. I don’t feel all that grown up.

Which… when I stop and really think about that. It seems like a good thing. :)
