NeoCon

Today marks the first day of NeoCon, a convention for furniture designers and interior decorators. I think. Everytime I see the name of this thing, I get all aggravated that they chose such a shitty name. NeoCon? New Convention? It seems like the most vague, imprecise name they could have possibly come up with.

At any rate, there’s a crapton of people around. Trucks are lined up outside the front, and the moment you walk inside it’s a sea of brochures and name badges. For the rest of this week, lunch is going to be a tricky proposition as almost every restaurant nearby is going to be packed to the gills.
