All day

I bought a copy of Final Cut Express yesterday, after work. So far today, I’ve gotten a good deal completed. I’ve purchased a domain name. I got the ball rolling on a domain pointer via my current host. I’ve finalized the page layout and I installed Final Cut Express on my computer.

Really, all that’s left for me to do is to try and get my media file down to a reasonable size (for delivery over the web). I’ve got a chunky version of the project that’s weighing in at about 70MB, which is just way too big.

I’ve spent the past few hours digging around a bit inside Final Cut Express. It’s hard for me right now, to crack open the manual and walk through things. Now that I’m so close to the end? Learning a new application always takes time, and right now I’m just itching to get this thing launched. I want it up and running by Monday, I really do.

I’m close, people. So close that I can taste it. Apologies again for the lack of decent updates, but there are only so many hours in the day. More soon.
