Delicious Monster

I was talking to Jamie (aka rypunked) yesterday, and we were talking about loaning books out to friends. She was trying to find some bookmark system that allowed you to record who you loaned out a particular book to. A simplified library checkout/tracking system, if you will.

We both did a few searches, and stumbled across this amazing gem of an application:

You hold up a barcode to your Mac camera, and the application scans the item, retrieves info off the web, and creates an entry. And just like that, you can start cataloging all your books, your CD’s, your DVD’s. Amazing.

$40 is a bit steep, but it’s tempting. If nothing else, go and take a peek at the application. A really great idea that looks super slick.
